Ogidan Oladare Rowland lectures in the Department of Dramatic Arts, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, with special research interest in media arts (Television, Film, Radio Drama and African Theatre Performance). He holds a Master of Arts Degree in Media Arts, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and Bachelor of Arts Degree, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. He is currently studying for his PhD at the Department of Dramatic Arts, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He is a consummate actor in both screen and stage performance. He has featured in numerous convocation plays at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, such as, Hope of the Living Dead (2007), Langbodo (2011), Esu and the Vagabond Minstrel (2012), Jankariwo (2014), Our Husband has Gone Mad Again (2015), To the Stars (2021), Adventures in the Forest of a Thousand Daemons (2022) etc. He also acted in some Nollywood Film, such as Head Gone (2016), WURA (2023), which is streaming at present on Showmax, to mention few.
